Ettore Vulcano, M.D.
Class of 2001
Dr. Vulcano is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in disorders of the foot and ankle as well as deformities of the extremities.
Dr. Vulcano has diverse and extensive training. He graduated summa cum laude from Campus Biomedico University Medical School, the leading-ranked medical school in Rome Italy, and completed a rigorous orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Insubria in Varese, Italy, also graduating summa cum laude.
He then completed a foot and ankle fellowship at the Institute for Foot and Ankle Reconstruction in Baltimore, MD, and an additional fellowship in limb lengthening, limb realignment, and complex reconstruction at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, one of the only three centers for limb lengthening and reconstruction in the USA.
A recipient of national and international awards for excellence in clinical research, Dr. Vulcano has a strong research background in orthopedic surgery. He has co-authored several peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, and delivered presentations at national and international conferences. Diana Paredes is the CEO and Co-Founder of Suade, a benchmark software platform that enables financial institutions to understand and deliver their regulatory requirements. Prior to founding Suade, Diana had a successful career in investment banking, covering all asset classes at Barclays and Merrill Lynch, across sales, trading & structuring. Whilst working in the industry, she saw an opportunity to innovate and launch her current Fintech startup. She believes that a data-driven approach to regulation is the key to preventing the next financial crisis. She has a number of different interests ranging from FinTech to performing arts and social enterprise. She has a BEng and MEng in Civil and Environmental engineering from Imperial College and is fluent in six languages. Overall, she is interested in challenging the way business has been done so far in different sectors in order to create more efficient solutions.

Francesco Cesarini is the founder of Erlang Solutions Ltd. He has used Erlang on a daily basis since 1995, starting as an intern at Ericsson’s computer science laboratory, the birthplace of Erlang. He moved on to Ericsson’s Erlang training and consulting arm working on the first release of OTP, applying it to turnkey solutions and flagship telecom applications. In 1999, soon after Erlang was released as open source, he founded Erlang Solutions, who have become the world leaders in Erlang based consulting, contracting, training and systems development. Francesco has worked in major Erlang based projects both within and outside Ericsson, and as Technical Director, has led the development and consulting teams at Erlang Solutions. He is also the co-author of 'Erlang Programming' and 'Designing for Scalability with Erlang/OTP' both published by O'Reilly and lectures at Oxford University.

Mick Reed (’89) is an award-winning producer with roots in the independent film world and over 20 years of entertainment, broadcast, and corporate credits. He is Founder and CEO of Clippn, a platform that accepts raw clips from videographers and broadcasters and monetizes to over 50% of the global stock footage market. Nonprofit work includes working with children and young adults to introduce them to the world of filmmaking.
Class of 2001
After graduating from St Stephen's in 2001, Fabrizio studied law at Durham University, in the UK. He then moved to London where he completed the Legal Practice Course and trained as a solicitor at international city firm Herbert Smith Freehills. Once qualified as a solicitor, he started working and specialising in the entertainment sector, specifically film and music. After leaving Herbert Smith, Fabrizio worked for a company specialised in digital cinema financing and distribution and for a boutique entertainment law firm. Since 2013 he has been at Universal Music Group, looking after all legal and business affairs for their international brand partnerships department.

Melissa just graduated from Loyola University Chicago in May 2016 with a Bachelor’s in Psychology. She currently works at a market research company and is planning to begin a Master’s Program in the next couple of years.
Class of 1970
Andy has been a lawyer since 1982, when he was graduated from Harvard Law School. Most of his legal career has been devoted to general commercial litigation, with a bias towards the defense of complex insurance coverage disputes, but he has also done consumer class actions on the plaintiff and defense sides, products liability, personal injury defense, and a smattering of IP cases. He has also done a bit of work as a neutral, and have a great deal of experience mediating the resolution of high-value commercial cases.
Before practicing law, Andy studied dance at Connecticut College and The Juilliard School, and danced professionally for a number of years. Even after becoming a lawyer, he remained active in dance into his 40s, both as a board member and administrator of a ballet school and company and as a teacher of modern dance.
Finally, he has been actively involved in the ski industry for over 30 years, both as a lawyer and, for the last 20, as a ski patroller at a Tahoe-area resort.
Fabiana De Rose
Class of 1990
Fabiana De Rose graduated from St. Stephen's in 1990. She went on to study at La Sapienza in Rome where she completed a degree in Political Science with Indirizzo Internazionale. Fabiana De Rose now lives in Rome and works in the field of business consulting, project and account managing.
In this capacity, she has worked for several consulting firms and for Telecom Italia over the past 14 years.
On the side, in her early twenties, she also studied theatre at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London and has cultivated this passion for the arts, over the years. She has been producing English-language theatre shows in Rome for The Rome Savoyards (the company founded and directed by Sandra Provost), for the past 10 years.
