Spotlight on Our Amazing Faculty: Moira Egan, Creative Writing

Moira Egan, an accomplished writer and poet, enriches her students' knowledge of writing techniques in her Creative Writing classes at St. Stephen's.  This Friday, she has shared an elegy she has written for one of her professors at Columbia University.

CLOWN THERAPY COURSE

open to all students

 “RIDEO" ERGO SUM ("I LAUGH, THEREFORE I AM")

with the Clown Doctors of the Associazione Andrea Tudisco

The course will focus on how "human relationships" are enhanced through the interaction and the role of the Clown Doctor. The art of empathic listening is emphasized, as are the skills of managing emotions, and verbal and nonverbal communication. Further emphasis will concentrate on the impact of humor, as well as the psychology and stages of child development. 

Classes are on Wednesday from 4-5.15PM

at the Cultural Center-Via Aventina, 1
