Congratulations to Creative Writing Teacher Moira Egan on Prestigious Award!

Moira Egan and Damiano Abeni won the 4th edition of the Benno Geiger Poetry Prize by the Giorgio Cini Foundation for their translation of Charles Wright's work "Donzelli Poesia".  


The "Benno Geiger" Poetry Translation Prize in 2017 is a prize established in 2014 by the Giorgio Cini Foundation in memory of the Austrian Literature Benno Geiger, whose literary fund for years has been preserved and valued on the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore. Moira Egan and Damiano Abeni won with a translation of the work "Italy" by Charles Wright (Donzelli Poesia) and a cash prize of 4,000 euros.

A New Film From the Director of Rondo... A Song of Healing, Premiers Friday, May 19th at 7PM

The new short film A Song of Healing from St. Stephen's senior, Yi Chen, will premiere next Friday the 19th at 7:00 pm in the School Auditorium! All proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the digital arts department.

Yi Chen in… HIS FIRST SOLO CONCERT! March 24th from 6:30-8:00pm Auditorium

St. Stephen’s Senior Yi Chen performs in his first solo concert ever! Please join us for this evening and musical experience. Yi has written and composed many of the pieces you will be listening to perform next Friday! So we look forward to seeing you!


About Yi Chen

Yi Chen was classically trained in his early childhood by the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing and continued lessons in piano and composition in all of the countries he has traveled to. He is currently studying piano with Santa Cecilia Professor Fiorenza Di Croce, aiming to obtain his dipABRSM. At the same time, he is studying composition with Richard Trythall. His other instruments include voice, flute and violin.
