The Parents' Association of St. Stephen's School exists to create a positive and strong sense of community among the parents of the School, and to facilitate good communication both among parents and between parents and the faculty/administration of St. Stephen's. An affiliated goal of the Association is to contribute to the School's ongoing commitment to community service.

The Parents' Association meets monthly. In addition, it sponsors regular events, both social and for the purpose of fund-raising for causes it identifies each year. It seeks to support the larger goals of the School community in a variety of ways. Through close consultation with the Head of School and by means of the monthly P. A. newsletter events of interest to parents are created and made known to the parents. The P. A. also maintains the Parent Directory on the School's website so that parents can easily communicate with one another.


Two to four parents volunteer to be liaisons with the parents of each class. They have particular responsibility for engaging with the parents of that year as its class representatives. There is also an elected treasurer who has responsibility for the finances of the P. A. The president of the Parents' Association is a volunteer position, elected yearly.
