Students who take part in the summer programs at St. Stephen's School enjoy comfort and a sense of community living in the school's residence hall.

Summer Boarders

Summer school students are housed on campus in the main villa, in two wings on the top two floors where the boys’ and girls’ dormitories are located. Each section contains double and triple student rooms. Shared bathrooms with showers are located in the main hallways and are segregated by gender.

All rooms have Wi-Fi access, and the dorms are separated from the rest of the school building by an access control system.

Experienced, bi-lingual Resident Assistants live alongside the summer program students, plus schedule afternoon sports activities and evening visits to cultural events around Rome. Gelato-runs are a frequent occurrence. The weekend of June 21st includes a day trip to Pompeii and Sorrento.

Meals and Recreation

The Dining Hall

Meals are taken in the school's dining hall, where breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided, and the menu is typical Roman or Italian fare. Specialty and vegetarian meals are available upon request.

Recreational Activities

Every effort is made to create a family atmosphere for the residents, as well as to provide a range of social and recreational opportunities. The snack bar and lounge with TV and DVD/VCR are popular places for relaxation.

In their free time, students can use the library, sports, and music facilities or hang out in the cloisters or on the terrace, enjoying the Roman atmosphere.
