St Stephen's School

Lesley Murphy was born in London and has worked in international education for more than thirty years. She holds a Batchelor of Arts in English Literature and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of Sussex, and a Master of Studies in Literature and Arts from the University of Oxford.

She is Director of Admissions at St. Stephen’s and also teaches English. She has been an examiner for both the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, and has co-chaired several school evaluations for the Council of International Schools. She loves teaching, cooking, Italy, eighteenth-century literature and her two Persian cats, Zoro and Astro.
