Bid to Win a Champions League Jersey from AS Roma Player Edin DŽEKO!

Big surprise of the event "I Pazzi di Danza" organized by Reach Out- La Casa di Andrea – the striker of football team Roma, EDIN DŽEKO, gave us as a gift his signed jersey – the one he was wearing while scoring the away goal that won Roma a place in this year’s Champions league quarter-finals for the first time since 2008.

We are immensely grateful to Edin to have given us this very Champions league jersey, the one with which such a decisive goal was scored on March 13th in the match against the Ukrainian team Shakhtar Donetsk.

The jersey is on sale at the online auction – https://www.charitystars.com/…/maglia-gol-dzeko-indossata-e…

All the proceeds will be donated to the Andrea Tudisco Association (http://www.assandreatudisco.org/), sustaining the Casa di Andrea. It has now been twenty years that the Casa di Andrea gives hospitality to children with very serious conditions, and to their families, helping them face their ill health in a warm and comfortable environment that in time becomes a real home for them, as it is equipped aiming to give them a thorough moral support.

We thank Edin Dzeko in the name of both St. Stephen’s school and of the Tudisco Association for his greatly thoughtful gesture, for collaborating towards the expansion of the association!

The auction is now open. Increase your bids!

in the St Stephen's School Cultural Center.

Barbie Nadeau will talk about her journey in writing her latest book

ROADMAP TO HELL: SEX, DRUGS AND GUNS ON THE MAFIA COAST

OneWorld Publications who published the book describes its contents as follows:

"From sex slaves to drug mules, The Daily Beast's Rome Bureau Chief uncovers a terrifying and intricate web of criminal activity right on Europe's doorstep.

Caught between Camorra gunrunners selling to ISIS and Nigerian drug gangs along Italy's picturesque coast, each year thousands of refugees and migrants are lured into their criminal underworld, forced to become sex slaves, drug mules or weapon smugglers. In this powerful exposé, investigative journalist Barbie Latza Nadeau follows the weapons trail, meets the Nigerian hair braiders trafficked and trapped by black magic, the brave nuns who try to save them and the Italian police who turn a blind eye as the most urgent issues facing Europe play out in broad daylight."
