Community Gateway
Back to GatewayAmong our parents, alumni, faculty, and friends are artists, writers, entrepreneurs, business leaders, researchers, and creators whose work and experiences enrich the life of the School.
This October, we are delighted to celebrate St. Stephen’s parent Angie Geehan, whose artwork will be featured in an exhibition at the Tri-Mission Gallery at the American Embassy in Rome.

The exhibition reflects Angie’s eye for the landscapes, architecture, colors, and small details that give a place its particular character. Her paintings invite viewers to notice what can easily be overlooked in everyday life—the interplay of light and color, a familiar view seen from a new perspective, or the beauty found in the spaces around us.
The exhibition will be on view throughout October 2026 and offers another wonderful example of the creativity and talent present within the wider St. Stephen’s community.
For a school that places creativity at the heart of its educational values, celebrating the work of members of our community is particularly meaningful. Learning does not happen only through lessons and textbooks; students are surrounded by adults whose ideas, careers, passions, and experiences provide their own powerful examples of curiosity, commitment, and lifelong learning.
St. Stephen’s welcomes opportunities to highlight the achievements and projects of our community members—whether they are artists, authors, entrepreneurs, researchers, executives, musicians, filmmakers, or professionals working across a wide range of fields. By sharing these stories, we hope not simply to celebrate individual accomplishments, but also to give our students a glimpse of the many different paths that creativity, knowledge, and determination can take.
We congratulate Angie on her exhibition and look forward to celebrating The Beauty That Surrounds Us this October.
