Back to GatewayThe St Stephen’s Career Fair offers students an opportunity to explore career paths, ask questions, and gain firsthand insights into the world of work.
What does a career really look like beyond the classroom? What inspires someone to pursue a particular profession? And how do interests, talents, and unexpected opportunities shape the paths we take?
These are just some of the questions students will have the opportunity to explore during an event designed to connect them with professionals from a wide range of industries and introduce them to the many possibilities that lie ahead.

Bringing together members of the St. Stephen’s parent community and professionals from diverse fields, the Career Fair offers students something particularly valuable: the chance to hear firsthand about real-world experiences, career decisions, challenges, and achievements.
The morning will begin at 10:00 AM with brief presentations from invited panelists, who will share insights into their professional journeys and the experiences that have shaped their careers.

Students will then have the opportunity to meet professionals individually at desks organized by career field, allowing for more personal, informal conversations. This interactive format has become one of the most rewarding aspects of the fair, encouraging students to ask questions, explore their interests, and discover professions they may never have previously considered.
Beyond learning about specific careers, students will gain a broader understanding of the skills, adaptability, curiosity, and perseverance needed to navigate an ever-changing professional world. Just as importantly, they will discover that career paths are rarely straightforward and that interests and ambitions can evolve in unexpected and exciting directions.
One of the strengths of the St. Stephen’s community is the remarkable diversity of experiences, backgrounds, and professions represented among our families. The Career Fair is a wonderful opportunity to draw on that collective knowledge and bring the world of work a little closer to our students.
Members of the Parents’ Committee and the wider parent community are warmly encouraged to participate as panelists, sharing their experiences and helping students make meaningful connections between their education today and the opportunities of tomorrow.
The fair will conclude at approximately 12:30 PM, followed by a thank-you lunch hosted by the school for participating professionals and their families and partners.
At St. Stephen’s, preparing students for life beyond school means more than academic achievement. It means nurturing curiosity, encouraging exploration, and helping young people discover who they are, what inspires them, and who they might become.
The Career Fair is another opportunity to bring that philosophy to life.
